Mercedes College is a Catholic secondary college for the education of girls. The school has a current enrolment of approximately 800 girls in Years 8 - 12.
Established in 1846 by the Sisters of Mercy, the College continues the long and proud Mercy tradition of service to others and the pursuit of academic, cultural and sporting excellence.
The college has a strong focus on the arts with drama performances occuring each year, the orchestra and choir participating in many musical events, and the art exhibition being an important annual event.
The College has embraced Learning Technologies, placing emphasis on the student's ability to know how to access new information, and learn new skills.
